Q: After programming, the deadbolt will lock with the door closed but gives 3 beeps. When input code to unlock the door it will not unlock.  

A: It is a good suggestion to lock and unlock the deadbolt with the door open so that there are no possible obstructions to the bolt. If it operates with the door open, but gives warning beeps when the door is closed, then it’s possible that there is misalignment with the strike and/or the hole behind the strike is not deep enough.
