When step 1 programming master code, it gives 3 red beeps
If you receive red beeps after entering your master code during step 1 please follow these steps-
- Factory reset the electronic deadbolt.
- You do this by pressing the reset button underneath the inside housing unit with the reset tool or an object that will fit in the reset hole, until you hear a long beep.
- Once reset, take 1 battery out, wait for a few seconds and then put the battery back in. Allow the bolt to go out and back in. (You will hear a beep)
- After success, attempt step 1 again. If successful you will hear 1 beep, and the button will turn green.
Initial keypad locks will shut down for 1 minute after 3 consecutive unsuccessful attempts.
All Fingerprint locks and Keypads received after July will shut down after 5 wrong unsuccessful attempts.
