Brinks Door Security Bar features non-marring top yoke and a pivoting padded foot. With dual function the security bar can adjust to fit most standard sliding and hinged doors. The security bar is easy to install and remove, simply prop the bar under the door knob or between the sliding or hinged doors for extra security. Great for home, dorm room, travel and on-the-go.

We understand the Security Bar foot sliding on some of the very slick ceramic tile and vinyl flooring.

In some cases try shortening the bar length to create a steeper angle on the bar, this sometimes will apply more down force and help to overcome the slick ceramic tile and vinyl flooring that is causing the bar foot to slide.

We do not rate this product on pounds of resistance, each application can be different because of the angle of the security bar to the door and the surface of the floor (Hardwood/Tile/Carpet) for the footing of the bar to grab.
